Santa Barbara County Code Enforcement

A complaint may be filed by phone, in person, or by completing an online form. Click here to report a violation. Buelton, Solvang and unincorporated areas may use the County Code Enforcement Office

Lompoc Building Inspector

A 24 hour "Inspection Hotline" has been made available for your convenience (805) 875-8231. If your request is received prior to 7:00 a.m., the inspector will conduct the inspection that same day. Any inspections received after this time will be conducted the following work day. Building Inspectors are not available during weekends or holidays.

 

Lompoc Code Enforcement

The Complaint Form (2-pages) is located on the City’s website here. Please provide as much information as possible. The reporting party must provide their name, address and contact phone number and an original signature is required. The information will be kept confidential.

Santa Maria Building Inspector

To Schedule Building inspection you may call the 24-hour inspection line at (805) 925-0951 extension 2510 by 4:00 p.m. one business day prior to the requested inspection date.  Please leave your permit number, job address, inspection type, preference of either morning or afternoon, and a reliable contact phone number. Your inspector will contact you between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m. on the day of inspection to coordinate.

Mediation

Mediation can resolve issues outside of court with the help of an expert third party.

Isla Vista Landlord/Tenant Mediation Program

The IVCSD is pleased to provide this impartial mediation service to the Isla Vista community in order to resolve housing issues/disputes fairly, safely, and economically. Sayre Macniel serves as the District’s Landlord/Tenant Mediator and provides services 10am-3pm on Thursdays and 2pm-7pm on Fridays. Mediation services are open to and can be initiated by both landlords and tenants.

City of Santa Barbara Rental Housing Mediation Program

Provides information on the California Rules and Regulations pertaining to Landlord/Tenant rights and responsibilities to parties in a residential rental housing situation. Offers mediation services to Landlords, Tenants, Roommates and Neighbors regarding disputes pertaining to residential rental housing.
